It has been a crazy ride and Chaz loves to explain what the market is doing and how he sees the company doing in the near future.

Cannabis Infused Peppermint Bark

Creating cannabis-infused peppermint bark is a unique way to enjoy the festive season, especially for those interested in combining traditional holiday treats with the benefits of cannabis. Below is a guide on how to make this delightful treat, including how to prepare cannabis oil, which is a key ingredient.

Ingredients:

For Cannabis Oil:

1 cup of coconut oil (or any other preferred carrier oil)
7-10 grams of decarboxylated cannabis (amount depends on desired potency)

For Peppermint Bark:

2 cups of white chocolate chips
1 cup of dark chocolate chips
1 teaspoon of cannabis oil (adjust based on preference and potency)
1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
Crushed peppermint candies for topping

Equipment:

Oven
Baking sheet
Parchment paper
Double boiler or microwave-safe bowls
Spatula
Measuring spoons and cups
Airtight container for storing the finished product
Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare Cannabis Oil

Decarboxylation: Start by decarboxylating your cannabis to activate THC. Preheat your oven to 245°F (120°C). Break your cannabis buds into small pieces and spread them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Infusion: Combine the decarboxylated cannabis with your chosen oil in a double boiler or slow cooker. Heat the mixture on a low setting (ideally between 160°F and 200°F) for a few hours, stirring occasionally. Avoid boiling.

Straining: After the infusion process, strain the oil using a cheesecloth to remove plant material. Your cannabis oil is now ready.

Step 2: Make Peppermint Bark

Prepare Base Layer: Melt the dark chocolate chips using a double boiler or in a microwave (in 30-second intervals, stirring in between). Once melted, stir in half a teaspoon of cannabis oil and pour the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Spread evenly and chill in the refrigerator until set.

Peppermint Layer: Melt white chocolate chips following the same method. Once melted, add peppermint extract and stir. Pour this over the chilled dark chocolate layer, spreading evenly.

Add Toppings: Sprinkle crushed peppermint candies over the top and gently press them into the white chocolate layer.

Chill: Refrigerate the bark until completely set, typically about 1-2 hours.

Break into Pieces: Once set, break the bark into pieces. Store in an airtight container in a cool place.

Tips:

Start with a low dose of cannabis oil and adjust according to your tolerance and preference.
Ensure even distribution of cannabis oil in the chocolate for consistent potency in each piece.
Always label your cannabis-infused treats, especially if there are others in your household.

Conclusion:

Cannabis-infused peppermint bark is a festive and fun treat that's easy to make. It combines the joy of holiday sweets with the unique properties of cannabis. Remember to consume responsibly and be mindful of the laws and regulations regarding cannabis in your area. Enjoy your homemade cannabis-infused treat and have a happy holiday season!
